2. General Information on Data Processing
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection laws (in particular the GDPR and Swiss data protection law).
We only collect personal data that is necessary for the provision and operation of this website and our services.
Important: There is no third-party tracking, no use of Google Fonts, and no embedding of external videos.
3. Registration and Member Area
Use of the platform requires registration.

Password (stored encrypted)
Apartment details (e.g., description, location, size, photos)
Purpose of processing
The data is processed for membership administration, display and management of listings, and to facilitate communication between members.
Data Deletion
Upon termination of membership, all personal data and content (including listings and chat histories) will be completely deleted.
4. Listings and Uploads
Members can post listings for their apartments and upload photos. Published listings and uploaded photos are visible to other registered users.
Unused images (e.g., because an image has been replaced by a new one) are immediately and permanently deleted from the server.
5. Communication Between Users
When two members have a "match", they can communicate with each other on the platform.Chat Function
Chat messages are stored on our server to enable communication tracking.
Email Notifications
Members are notified by email about new messages on the platform.
6. Payment Processing (Paid Memberships)
We use PayPal for paid memberships. Payments are processed via the PayPal interface; you will be redirected to the PayPal website for this purpose.
PayPal processes payment data independently. Information on data processing by PayPal can be found here: PayPal – Privacy Policy.
We only receive the information from PayPal necessary for processing the payment (e.g., payment confirmation).
7. Legal Basis for Processing
Your data is processed on the following legal bases:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (processing necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract)
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent, e.g., for voluntary information or publication of photos)
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g., secure and functional operation of the website)
8. Storage Period
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. After the storage period expires or after termination of membership, the data will be deleted.
9. Disclosure to Third Parties
Personal data is generally not disclosed to third parties unless:
you have expressly consented,
disclosure is necessary for the performance of the contract, or
there is a legal obligation to do so.
